Ingredients
Measure Ingredient Prep Notes
6 ea Eggs, Large
4 tbsp Sugar, Brown, Dark
2 cups Heavy Cream
1 tsp Vanilla Paste or Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 stick Butter, Unsalted
1 box Cereal, Your Favorite Crunchy Cereal Crushed into crumbs
1 loaf Bread, Texas Toast, Thick (approx. 10 Slices)
Prep Directions:

Follow all prep instructions in the prep notes

Pour cereal into a gallon-sized bag and crush into bread crumb pieces
Preparation Directions:
Wash all tools prior to use
Clean and sanitize all cutting boards and prep surfaces prior to use
Read all manufacturer’s instructions before using grills, starters, and any cooking tools
Check Propane tank for any leaks/wear, replace as needed
Preheat griddle over medium/high heat for approx. 10 minutes
In a medium mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar, cream, vanilla paste, and cinnamon
Using a whisk, whisk together all ingredients creating the French Toast batter
Soak the Texas Toast in the batter for approx. 15 seconds each side
Place the cereal crumbs on a cookie sheet
Press each piece of toast into the crumbs to crust them, repeat this for both sides
On the griddle, place half a stick of butter down and melt the butter fully
Place the slices of crusted toast on the griddle in the butter
Cook for approx. 2-3 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached
When done, remove French toast from griddle and add to serving platter
Serve with additional butter and maple syrup
