The fountain itself is nearly four foot fool and the pump is lifting the water about 24 with plenty of flow to provide for a great looking and sounding display. …Would definitely consider again as we are thinking of adding some fountains to the back yard.

Love this solar fountain. I’ve had other fountains that the solar panel floats in the water with the fountain.…The plat panel doesn’t get slimy from being in the water and you can put the fountain in the shade as the cord is long enough to have the panel in the sun.…
So much fun for so little money! I have several of these in my bird baths. When it is really hot, the hummingbirds hoover and dive bomb the spray. Also good for thirsty bees.
Fun in the sun. Pretty weak pump and will not work unless full sun is on the solar panel. I will get a better, bigger solar panel. The pump works just fine.

I would think that it is the same thing. I have mine in a fountain with a 3/8 (6mm) I.D. hose and in full sun it easily lifts the water up 2 ft of hose and out the end 4 inches.
This makes my fountain work all the time as the pump that came with it I hardly ever saw the water running in the fountain
This pump was very easy to set up and worked with ease. If you choose a sunny location, the pump has a very good output volume.

Fountain is outside. Cord is 10 feet long. I have the panel laying in a sunny spot in the flower bed. Not sure what purpose mounting would do, just lay it on the ground and let it face up towards the sun. It’s simple. I wouldn’t make a lot more work for myself by trying to mount it somewhere. If the sun shines on the panel, it pumps water. If sun doesn’t shine on it, find a spot where it will!
First can I ask, did it ever run in the beginning? I am not sure what yours is runnng in but on my outdoor fountain the water soon had a lot of junk in it. From grass clippings to algae to bird poop. I had my pump in the filter bag it came with to protect it. But this summer I was changing the water every 5-7 days and cleaning off the screen every time. Might want to be sure that the problem is not that gunk got in the pump. And if this was the first thing you checked, sorry I mentioned it.

Works great in my wine barrel fountain. Feeds a tube that flows through a 3 foot high fountain.… Note: this would be too strong for a birdbath, but great for medium sized ponds and 3 to 6 foot fountains.

We used this to make a solar water feature out of small water pump, half wine barrel & liner. Worked great for nearly two years in all kinds of weather, running on all sunny days (and some partly cloudy). The solar part is still usable, so we might just get another pump and create a second water feature.

Yes. It does work with 3 tiers water fountain.
Depends on the size of the fountain, we have customer use 196GPH version and 10W 12V panel have great success. If the plastic tube inside the fountain is 1/2 inch, you can connect directly to the pump without the nozzle kit. Also, make sure your fountain have enough space to hide the pump and keep in mind the pump need to be covered by water all time when it is running. The depth of the water need to be more than 2.5 inch in order to cover the pump.

Bought the 410GPH pump to replace the old AC pump I had in my fountain after moving it to the back of my fence line.…Did a quick test run by hooking it straight to the battery and it worked fine will be nice to have the fountain back up and running.
…You have a fountain that runs all day for free! As you can see from the enclosed photo, it's plenty powerful to move a lot of water and if you place one of those blue toilet tank cleaner chips in the water, it not only looks beautiful but it also keeps the fountain clean!…

Hmm. I do ‘t Know the answer. I decided not to use the fountain with it because I didn’t want to be continually checking to make sure the water was deep enough. You will ruin the pump if there is no water when the sun is out. Instead I hooked a tube on the end. I put the pump at the bottom of my tiny pond and snaked the tube around rocks so it comes out as a little stream I couldn’t be happier with it!

I am very happy with this fountain.…If you put the solar panal where it continues to get sun all day, the fountain will work right up to when the sun goes down. I put my fountain in a birdbath and the run time is perfect. I cannot tell you how the other fountain attachments work in the different water patterns because after setting up my birdbath, I misplaced the bag of attachments!!!…If i buy a fountain for my other birdbath, this will be the one I buy.

Depends on how much of a sound you want. It is a little spray into the air and just a trickle sound. This one is more for movement of water to keep mold from forming in a bird bath. No sun--no spray.
Works like it says! More appropriate for table top, but I put mine outside. The spray is strong for such a small pump. Very pleased.

Very cool. I had to go to a Big Box Store to get a longer plastic hose, but that wasn't outrageously expensive, and it's teaching my grandkids about solar energy. Kind of wish it had an on/off switch instead of having to unscrew the connection line to turn it off, but it's easy enough..
