Description:
The HS type pump is the single stage, end suction, cantilevered, heavy duty, horizontal centrifugal slurry pump. The wet parts components are casted of high chrome alloy, SA05, 27%, ASTM532. They are able to maintain good hydraulic performance even when the pump is subject to severe wear. Its discharge outlet has 8 positions at 45 degree intervals that can me selected to meet the installation and application requirements.
Advantages:
A large diameter shaft with short overhang minimizes deflection and contributes to long bearing life. Only four through bolts are required to hold the cartridge type housing in the frame.
Easily replaceable liners are bolted, not glued, to the casing for positive attachment and ease of maintenance. Hard metal liners are completely interchangeable with pressure molded elastomers. Elastomer seal rings back all liner joints.
The double-casing design of our heavy duty slurry pump allows for axial split. Made of ductile iron, the pump casing is able to withstand major pressure produced within the pumping chamber. Liners are made of wear-resistant materials, and do not stick to the outer casing for ease of maintenance and replacement.
Impeller front and rear shrouds have pump out vanes that reduce recirculation and seal contamination. Hard metal and molded elastomer impellers are completely interchangeable. Cast in impeller threads require no inserts or nuts. High efficiency and high head designs are also available.
The slurry pump body is fixed to the pump base or mounting base by several bolts. Users can adjust the clearance between impeller and suction liner easily from underneath the bearing support, or bearing pedestal.
The rotating shaft is sealed via Packing Seal, Centrifugal Expeller Dynamic Seal and Mechanical Seal, to meet different working conditions.
A very robust one-piece frame cradles the cartridge type bearing and shaft assembly. An external impeller adjustment mechanism is provided below the bearing housing for easy adjustment of impeller clearance.
